Hi Grégoire, tell us something about yourself.
I am 24 years old and I’m Digital Project Manager in Paris. My purposes in Life: chicken nuggets & candies.
Why did you choose analog photography?
I first started analog photography because It was a growing trend. One day I discovered Théo Gosselin on Instagram and then I bought my first analog camera. Since then, I still shoot film and everything has become addictive to me: grain, manual settings & the camera itself.
What do you like to photograph?
It is cliché but I’ve never been very talkative. Photography is a way for my loved ones to understand me. It helps me to live in the world I want to see.
Which cameras and films do you use?
I mostly shoot with my Nikon F2 with Nikkor Ai 35mm/50mm. For films: Kodak Portra 160/400/800 or Kodak Ektar 100.
What kind of photographs you like to take?
There is a difference between what I’d like to shoot and what I shoot. I’d love to shoot Fashion Editorials. But I mostly shoot my GF without planning anything. She is actually my muse.
Do you have a favorite photographer?
Martin Parr, Irving Penn, Eddie O’Keefe, Stephen Shore or Lee Jeffries.
A photo should…
A photo should be timeless.
